Stephen's prayer in response to Granada's Fall Missions emphasis: For Such a Time as This

Oh Lord, help us remember your divine providence, your sovereign placement, & help us serve you in the unique circumstances we face. Help us acknowledge that you have raised us, “for such a time as this.”

Heavenly father, we know you have placed us in these specific situations, this specific family, these specific workplaces, and this specific community-Narok. We don’t always see the big picture, but we know you have planted us here for a reason, for your purposes “for such a time as this.” 

we don’t always know why we are here, but your hand is at work behind the scenes. We often feel overwhelmed, & think that our contribution is small. But thank you Lord that our presence and compassion bring hope to many, to be light in all seasons. Protecting the vulnerable & sharing the gospel to all. Help us respond to your voice, and to step out in faith, even when it is risky or uncomfortable, “for such a time as this.”

God almighty, help us to “trust you with all our hearts, and not lean on our own understanding, but acknowledge you in all our ways, and you will make our path straight.” Help us live boldly & faithfully seizing all moments & opportunities to serve you & fellow men, to your glory, “for such a time as this.”

Oh sovereign Lord, thank you for making us your, “workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we walk in them.” “for such a time as this.” In Jesus’ name. Amen.
